Itinerary
Day 1: Depart London Heathrow for China
Day 2: Arrive in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing! Upon you arrival in Beijing be greeted and transferred
by our tour guide and then transfer to the downtown. The rest of time is
free for you to have a good rest. Overnight at: 4* Beijing Howard Johnson
Paragon Hotel
Day 3: Beijing (B L D)
After breakfast go to visit the heart of Beijing -the
historic Tiananmen Square followed by the marvelous "Egg" - National Centre
for the Performing Arts (from the outside) and the magnificent Forbidden
City. Lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant. Subsequently you will be
driven to the Temple of Heaven. After dinner, Kungfu Show will be arranged.
Then you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight at: Beijing Howard Johnson

Day 4: Beijing (B L D)
After breakfast, drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall where you will experience
the wonder of the Great Wall. For lunch you'll sample some delicious fare in
a local restaurant. Afterwards, visit the Sacred Way and Changling, one of
the Ming Tombs; on the way back to your hotel, you might make a stop at the
Beijing Olympic Village to take some photos of the Bird's Nest and the Water
Cube from the outside. After dinner, you will return to your hotel for rest.

Day 5: Beijing - Xian (B L D)
Firstly, you’ll drive to the charming Beihai Park to appreciate the
beautiful White Pagoda and the Nine-Dragon Screen. Then you will be
transferred to the old Beijing area and from here you will take a Rickshaw
to visit Hutong tour. Lunch will be arranged at a local family. If you'd
like, the host will friendly teach you how to make Chinese dishes. After a
lunch break, Lama Temple will be arranged. In the afternoon, you will be
transferred to the Summer Palace which used to be the imperial garden. After
the visiting, you will be transferred the railway station and take the
overnight train to Xi’an. Overnight on the train
Day 6: Arrive in Xi’an (B L D)
Once upon arrival at Xi’an in the morning, our tour guide will meet you at
the railway station and accompany you to your hotel to have breakfast. Your
tour in Xi’an starts with the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and the Grand
Mosque. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After dinner, visit the
Musical Fountain and then you will return to your hotel and have a good
rest. Overnight at: 4* Xi’an Jianguo Hotel
Day 7: Depart from Xi’an to Guilin by air (B L D)
Check out in the morning, and then depart for the airport accompanied by
your guide. Fly to Guilin. Upon arriving, be met by Guilin’s guide. Check in
and have a lunch break. In the afternoon, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk
Hill and Fubo Hill will be arranged. Overnight at: 4* Guilin Park Hotel
Day 8: Guilin-Longsheng-Guilin (B L D)
Today you will have a one day tour from Guilin to Longshen. You will visit
the Longji Rice Terrace. Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Terraced Rice Fields
received their name because the rice terraces resemble a dragon's scales,
while the summit of the mountain range looks like the backbone of the
dragon. After the visiting, you will return to Guilin. Overnight at: Guilin

Day 9: Guilin-Yangshuo (B L D)
After breakfast today, you’ll be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive)
to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the
highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along
the river, you’ll be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles,
crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water
buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese
painting. After checking into your hotel in Yangshuo, free to explore the
beautiful town and its famous West Street. Overnight at: 4* Yangshuo New
Century Hotel
Day 10: Yangshuo-Guilin-Chongqing by air (B L D)
Check out early from the hotel. Fly to Chongqing. In the afternoon, Ciqikou,
which is on a hill above the Jialing River in the western part of Chongqing,
will be arranged. Ciqikou is a small section of city with about two city
streets and back allies that are set aside as a pedestrian shopping and
dining area. Subsequently Chongqing Zoo will be visited. Upon finishing the
city tour, you will be transferred to the port for the embarking. Overnight

Day 11-12: Yangtze River Cruise (B L D)
Full day cruise on the Yangtze River.
Day 13: Yichang - Shanghai by air (B L D)
Disembarking in Yichang and be met and transferred by our local guide to the
airport for your flight to Shanghai. When you arrival in Shanghai. Be
greeted and transferred by our tour guide to your hotel. Overnight at: 4*

Day 14: Shanghai (B L D)
Today you will first visit the magnificent Yu Garden. Right out of the Yu
Garden, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market (Yu Garden
Market). Proceed to the Temple of Jade Buddha. Take a shopping bummel in the
famed Nanjing Road and then down to the Bund alongside the Huangpu River to
explore the modern aspect of Shanghai. In this evening you will enjoy the
Acrobatics Show in Shanghai. Then return to your hotel. Overnight at: 4*
Golden River-view Hotel Shanghai
Day 15: Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai (B L D)
Depart for Suzhou from Shanghai by private coach. Today you will visit the
Master Nets Garden. It is the smallest of the Suzhou residential gardens,
yet it is the most impressive because of its use of space which creates the
illusion of an area that is much greater than its actual size. Subsequently,
the Pan Gate will be arranged which is a famous historical landmark in
Suzhou. It is located on the south-west corner of the Main Canal or
encircling canal of Suzhou. Originally built during the Warring States
Period in the state of Wu, historians estimate it to be around 2,500 years
old. The last visiting program is Tiger Hill. Overnight at: 4* Golden

Day 16: Shanghai (B)
Depending on your departure flight schedule, you will be met at the lobby by
the tour guide would escort you to the airport by Maglev train (luggage by
car) and fly home.
