Embark from Papeete in the early evening with time to relax over dinner, enjoy on-board entertainment before your overnight sailing to Huahine, also known as the ‘Garden Island’.

Your next day is at sea; explore the Paul Gauguin take in shipboard life as you watch the South Pacific Ocean scenery as you sail onwards to the fabulous Cook Islands. Named after Captain Cook, The Cook Islands are truly paradise with laidback friendly people, your first port of call Atutaki.

Explore uninhabited palm clad islands dotting its coral reefs, enclosing an extremely large and beautiful lagoon. Take a lagoon cruise and beach visit as you soak in the sun, or travel onwards to the marine reserve to snorkel through a kaleidoscope of colourful coral,  home to a plethora of shimmering tropical fish.

Overnight on board the Paula Gauguin as you sail onwards to Rarotonga, the centre of this tiny island a majestic mountain surrounded by pristine white palm clad beaches lapped by the turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Surrounded by a coral reef this island is the perfect spot to snorkel in the safety of the lagoon waters, or discover the lush interior with ‘Pa’ a local naturalist.

Set sail tonight with the following day spent experiencing Paul Gauguin’s shipboard ambience, relax this evening with an eclectic French cuisine.

On arrival at Bora Bora, you will understand why James Michener described this stunning island as ‘The most beautiful island in the world’. Take in one of the many optional excursions to maximise your time on the island, enjoy a bird’s eye view in an exhilarating helicopter ride over the island and your ship, board a glass bottom boat to view the islands marine life or just enjoy relaxing on a beach - this is paradise.

Continue your exploration of Bora Bora on your next day spent on the island, before setting sail this evening to Taha’a Motu Mahan, an exclusive South Seas Paradise for Paul Gauguin guests, explore this isolated island, relax with a BBQ whilst a Polynesian band of strolling musicians and singers entertain you.
Sail overnight to Moorea, part of the Windward group of the Society Islands, breath-taking scenery with mountains rising majestically from crystalline lagoon waters, lush green vegetation, white sandy palm clad beaches and an unhurried pace of life.  

A haven for humpback whales, take an optional whale watching cruise, or take an air conditioned coach journey around the island to discover this stunning island.

Your following day is at leisure in Moorea explore the underwater world in an optional SCUBA diving excursion to see the legendary sea turtles and Moorea’s colourful marine life.

This evening your last night on board the Paul Gauguin on arrival tomorrow you will disembark in Papeete.
